About Moving Mountains Wellness
Dr. Romano is a Naturopathic Doctor passionate about empowerment through wellness. Her interest in human performance and sports medicine began through her martial arts journey, rehabilitating her own injuries and supporting teammates through healing. She earned her Bachelor of Kinesiology from UBC and then studied at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, where she received extensive training in nutrition, nutraceutical and botanical medicine, lifestyle counselling, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion). She takes an "all systems" approach to health, believing optimal health requires balance between mental, physical, and emotional factors.
